Welcome! My name is Kevin and I own and run, Sandybank School of Motoring. I have lived in the Rossendale area all of my life. I absolutely love driving, there is no greater feeling than driving down the open road and visiting different places. This could soon be you !

I have been a driving instructor for 7 years, during which time a large number of people like yourself have been taught by myself and passed the driving test .I offer help with the theory test, with use of a laptop if required for both parts of the theory, multiple choice questions and hazard percepction.

Once you have passed, I can offer you a Pass Plus course. I also offer refresher courses and motorway courses.

I am a friendly chap and  I am very patient so nervous people need not worry, let me do that for you. I operate in the Rossendale, Accrington and Burnley areas.

You have the choice of both manual and automatic cars

The Manual car

 Peugeot 207 sprots hdi 1.6 litre 

This car is a manual gearbox. It has air conditioning,airbags for your saftey, electric windows, electric mirrors for easy setting.It is also fitted with dual controls so there is no need to be worried about making any mistakes because we will be able to sort them out between us. Its a very nice motor to drive, comfortable and easy to control.It is one of the nicest cars on the road at the moment and you will not be disapointed in it.It is well maintained and serviced regularly, valeted at regular intervals and bathed a couple of times a week, so is clean inside and out. You will enjoy learning in it I am sure.

The Automatic car

Peugeot 206 automatic 1.4 litre

This car has air bags, air conditioning, electric windows and electric mirrors for easy setting.

It is also fitted with dual controls

It is a good car to drive. The automatic gearbox means that you have no worries about gear selection. The training you will recieve in this car is the same has in the manual. There are no differences in the driving test between manual and automatic. The test is exactly the same , only there are no gear changes.

You will , however , be restricted to use only of an automatic once you pass your test
